Transition Assessments

How are donor-funded projects transferred to national authorities? We have experience with
transition assessments that involve evaluating the readiness and capacity of a country’s
health system to take over the funding and management of health programs previously
supported by international donors. We take a 360° view on the financial sustainability,
governance, human resources, infrastructure, and policy frameworks to ensure a smooth
and successful transfer of responsibilities from donors to national authorities. The goal is to
give instruments to countries to sustain and manage these programs independently,
reducing dependency on external funding sources.
