Heine van Wieren boasts over 25 years of extensive experience in sectors bridging the realms of public and private interests, spanning energy, environment, aviation, and healthcare all healthcare domains.
His approach revolves around the proposition and execution of daring, innovative ideas.
After completing his studies in Economics at the University of Groningen and Southampton, Heine
embarked on his career at the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs. In 2001, he assumed the role of projectmanager at the ACM (Authority for Consumers and Markets), where he was entrusted with determining energy rates within a new methodology. Subsequently, he transitioned into a strategic advisory role at the ACM.
In 2006, Heine transitioned to the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa). During his tenure, he
played a pivotal role in reshaping the landscape of mental health care, hospital care, and
pharmacy through financing and transition initiatives. His distinguished career at the NZa
culminated in the role of deputy director of Medical Care.
In 2015, he took the entrepreneurial leap and established Tagliente. Since 2017, he has
been joined in this endeavor by Ilaria, a partnership that has significantly expanded their
international portfolio.
In his spare time Heine is a great enthusiastic cyclist.
