With about 20 years of international professional experience, Ilaria has traversed academia and governmental organizations, specializing in economics, healthcare reform, policy development, performance assessment, regulation and market monitoring, transition processes, and health system funding. She has held the position of Assistant Professor at various universities in Switzerland and the Netherlands and served as a Visiting Professor at McMaster University in Canada. Notably, her roles as a senior economist at the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa) and the Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis (CPB) showcased her strong project management skills, procurement expertise, and experience in project acquisitions during her tenure with a prominent international consultancy.
